Brain, Nerve & Spinal Cord Surgery Specialist Op. Dr. Feridun Kubilay was born in Iran in 1960. He graduated from İstanbul Çapa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his Masters Degree in Neurophysiology at King's College London / United Kingdom in 1988, and his Doctor of Medicine (MD), Brain and Neurosurgery Specialization Program at İstanbul Çapa Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He served as the Chief of the Brain and Neurosurgery Clinic at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey, Istanbul Training and Research Hospital for 21 years between 1993 and 2014. For a period of approximately a quarter of a century, from 1999 to the present, he has been working as a freelance physician in his private practice located in Fatih - Çapa / İstanbul, and continues his surgeries with his team in various hospitals.
Op. Dr. Feridun Kubilay has extensive experience and research especially in brain and spinal cord tumors, pediatric (childhood) brain and spinal cord tumors, skull base surgery, spinal canal stenosis in the neck and waist, herniated disc and cervical disc herniation, spinal fractures and deformities, and scoliosis surgeries.
